Dog Training Tricity provides in-person dog training across Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Zirakpur and Derabassi. Training is designed around your dog’s age, temperament, routine, learning pace and the situations you actually face at home and outside.
You do not need to wait until a problem becomes serious. Training can help build better habits early or work on patterns that are already affecting everyday life.
Work on jumping, door rushing, over-excitement around guests, difficulty settling, demanding attention and other household habits.
Improve leash manners, attention outdoors and walking control so daily walks become easier to manage.
Understand common triggers behind barking or excessive excitement and work toward calmer, more manageable responses.
Help your dog respond more reliably to familiar cues around normal distractions instead of listening only when food or the trainer is present.
Address unwanted habits such as chewing, stealing food, counter surfing, excessive attention-seeking, rushing doors or ignoring boundaries.
Learn how to handle, guide and practise with your own dog so progress does not depend on the trainer being present.
We recommend beginning age-appropriate puppy training from around 2 months of age. At this stage, puppies are forming routines, learning how to respond to people and discovering which behaviours get rewarded.
Early puppy training is not about making a young dog perform complicated commands. It is about helping the puppy understand everyday expectations before avoidable habits become established.
Older dogs may already have established habits, so change can require more repetition and consistency. That does not mean the dog is too old to learn.
Look at when the behaviour happens, what usually triggers it and how people around the dog respond.
Introduce clearer expectations and more useful responses instead of simply correcting the dog after the problem happens.
Repeat the new behaviour in normal situations until the dog begins to understand what is expected more reliably.
A dog may behave very differently in a quiet training space compared with the home, street, lift, gate, park or neighbourhood where the real challenge occurs.
Useful for jumping on guests, household boundaries, barking, settling, door behaviour, attention-seeking and routine-related concerns.
Work on leash pulling, poor focus, over-excitement, reactions to common distractions and better handling outdoors.
Help your dog practise responding around people, sounds, movement and other situations that are part of normal life.
One of the most important parts of dog training is teaching the pet parent what to do. If the dog behaves perfectly for the trainer but the owner cannot reproduce the same result at home, the training has not transferred where it matters most.
We involve pet parents so you understand the cues, timing, routine and handling approach being used with your dog.
Dogs learn better when expectations are clear and the training process is safe and understandable. We do not support hitting, physical punishment, shouting or dominance-based methods.
Training should not require hitting, hurting or physically frightening a dog into compliance.
We do not base training on intimidating the dog or trying to prove who is “boss.”
The method should help the dog understand what behaviour is expected and help the owner repeat it consistently.
Our training visits are currently available only within our local service area.
